It is a big help when a scanner isnt available.

I use it all the time to mark up drawings to forward to my office for updating the CAD docs. Only complaints is that sometimes I cant get the correct contrast which may be because of the lighting conditions but I wouldnt want to be without it. Another complaint is that it has too few scan sizes. I often use 11x17, tabloid as well as other custom sizes. There definitely needs to be at least a tabloid size which is universal. A few other sizes for architects and designers would help and not require much change.
